Paid Media Manager

About This Role

Working hands-on with paid media, the Paid Media Manager will help MoneyPlus grow by running the detail, understanding performance, and shaping future strategies. This role offers meaningful ownership across paid search and social, with opportunities to become an internal subject-matter expert and influence customer acquisition beyond advertising platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own hands-on management and optimisation across Google Ads, Bing, Meta, and TikTok
• Analyse and forecast performance, diagnose changes, and turn data into a clear story and plan of action
• Scale activity thoughtfully, balancing customer volume with acquisition efficiency
• Build structured tests across existing and potential new channels, with clear hypotheses and measures of success
• Work with Web, Design/Content, Product, Operations, and the wider Marketing team to improve performance beyond the media platform
• Bring opportunities to the table: challenge assumptions, recommend channel choices, and make evidence-led cases for investment

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Google Ads experience, alongside relevant paid-social experience
• Evidence of helping to scale paid-media activity and understanding the performance trade-offs that come with growth
• Confidence diagnosing performance and explaining the ‘why’ to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Examples of setting or shaping strategy as well as executing it, including challenging an approach, proposing a test, or making a business case
• Ownership and initiative: spotting issues and opportunities, forming a view, and following the work through
