PACU - Clinical Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development. Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including cultural and spiritual considerations. Demonstrates critical nursing skills and maintains alertness for safety-sensitive responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on managing health conditions and post-care needs.
• Participate in safety initiatives, quality improvement, and compliance activities.
• Develop, implement, and communicate personalized care plans aligned with standards.
• Assess patient needs holistically, considering values, barriers, and preferences.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness.

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active RN license required.
• No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred.
• Preferred experience in ICU, ED, or PACU settings.
