About This Role
This role involves creating and finalizing packaging designs, layouts, and customer artwork, with a strong focus on dieline development and printing artwork setup. The position requires coordination with production teams to ensure quality and accuracy in printing jobs, particularly within the corrugated box and packaging manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and finalize packaging designs, layouts, logos, and customer artwork using CorelDRAW
- Prepare accurate packaging dielines, cutting layouts, and box structures as per customer specifications
- Set up printing matter, text, logos, colours, and layouts accurately for production
- Coordinate with production teams and monitor printing jobs to ensure quality and accuracy
- Understand offset printing processes, colour separation, registration, and print quality
- Prepare print-ready files and verify dimensions, alignment, and artwork specifications before printing
- Check printing samples, colour matching, artwork positioning, and final print output
- Work closely with printing operators, die makers, and production supervisors to ensure smooth production
Requirements
- Excellent working knowledge of CorelDRAW
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in packaging design and the printing industry
- Practical experience in corrugated box design and dieline preparation
- Good knowledge of offset printing and pre-press processes
- Understanding of colour separation, print registration, and artwork alignment
- Ability to independently handle design, artwork, and printing-related activities
- Knowledge of packaging dimensions, printing limitations, and production requirements
- 4 years of CorelDRAW experience
- 4 years of Packaging Design experience
- 4 years of Corrugated Box Designing experience
- 4 years of Dieline Development experience
- 4 years of Graphic Designing experience
- 4 years of Offset Printing experience
- 4 years of Flexo Printing experience
- 4 years of Packaging Layout Design experience
- 4 years of Flexo Printing, Pre-Press, Print-Ready Artwork experience
- 4 years of Printing Supervision, Quality Control, Artwork Preparation experience
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of flexographic printing on corrugated boxes
- Previous experience in a corrugated box manufacturing or packaging company
