Packaging Assistant Manager

• Lead packaging development, improvement, and value creation projects to support business growth and operational excellence.
• Plan, execute, and manage packaging initiatives to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Partner with suppliers, manufacturers, packaging vendors, and service providers to resolve packaging-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Evaluate local and regional packaging capabilities, including design, manufacturing processes, materials, innovation opportunities, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce product damage rates and improve customer experience.
• Support sustainability initiatives by identifying and implementing environmentally responsible packaging solutions.
• Drive packaging quality programs, including print quality management and packaging compliance standards.
• Develop and review packaging testing protocols and assess testing reports to ensure packaging performance meets business requirements.
• Deliver training and guidance to suppliers, service providers, and internal stakeholders on packaging standards, best practices, and updates.
• Provide technical expertise and coaching while supporting key business and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field
• Strong understanding of packaging engineering, design, testing, and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of packaging sustainability initiatives and quality management systems
• Familiarity with packaging testing, reliability analysis, root cause investigation, and cost optimization
• Proven ability to manage projects independently and deliver results on time
• Experience working with suppliers and external partners
