About This Role
This security officer role involves ensuring the safety and security of client property and personnel during overnight shifts. It suits an individual with prior security experience and strong customer service skills who can actively monitor premises and enforce regulations.
Responsibilities
- Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site
- Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel
- Actively monitor premises, including patrolling various locations
- Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
- Provide customer service and information to a client
Requirements
- 2+ years of security experience
- Basic computer skills
- Customer service skills
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
