Over The Road Driver (OTR)

About This Role

Being an Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver means safely completing scheduled deliveries and pick-ups for customers and vendors across the U.S. and Canada. This role helps ensure that life-sustaining Baxter products arrive where and when they are needed. It suits a driver who values ethics, teamwork, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned deliveries and pick-ups to and from customers and vendors, using hoists and other devices, in a professional and efficient manner
• Follow all safety rules for equipment use and driving outlined by Baxter and DOT
• Handle hours of service (HOS) using Qualcomm E-log System, MS Word, MS Excel
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers by providing excellent customer service
• Follow procedures and align with the standards for Continuous Improvement
• Communicate and organize effectively
• Push and/or pull up to 80 lbs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Hold a Class A CDL license with a DOT physical, physical ability test (PAT), background check, pre-employment drug screen, and road test
• Current U.S. Passport (or be eligible to acquire one)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Applicants must be authorized to work for an employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available at this time
