About This Role
This driver role is responsible for transporting tires and related products across the Midwest, ensuring safe and timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all regulations. It suits a dependable and safety-focused individual with strong time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Transport tires and related products to customer locations, company stores, and distribution centers
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and report any mechanical or safety concerns promptly
- Comply with all DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and company safety policies
- Accurately load, secure, and unload tires and materials using appropriate handling equipment and techniques
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including inventory handling, staging, and organization of shipments
- Maintain accurate driver logs, trip reports, and delivery documentation
- Communicate clearly with warehouse staff and service center teams regarding schedules, delays, or delivery issues
- Represent the company professionally and provide excellent customer service at all delivery locations
