About the role
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of Lawn Mowers and Handheld Power equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in engines and equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs
- Perform vehicle and equipment diagnostics using computerized systems
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of Small Engine systems
- Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of Lawnmower repair and Two-Cycle techniques and procedures
- Ability to perform basic electrical repairs is preferred
- Experience in equipment repair is a plus
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
