OT Automation Security Consultant – Long-term Contract – 100% Remote
On behalf of one of our key partners, RED now has a new opportunity for an OT Automation Security Consultant to join a global project. This role is to start ASAP and will be 100% remote .
Specific skills/experience required:
- Broad knowledge of PLCs , their configuration and management tools, particularly Siemens and Rockwell Automation
- Strong understanding of HMIs , including Windows Embedded and Windows 10/11 IoT
- Knowledge of remote access technologies
- Understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and NIST OT Guidelines
- Familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443
- Proven track record of configuring and/or managing industrial automation components, preferably from Siemens and similar vendors
- Fluent English (technical and executive level) is a must
- French is a strong advantage but not mandatory
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Project responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security baselines for industrial switches, PLCs, and HMIs
- Monitor and report on the implementation of hardening baselines
- Define hardening metrics and implement security compliance monitoring
