Responsibilities
- Utilize RF scanners and barcode scanning technology to accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct manual handling tasks including lifting, loading, unloading, and stacking materials with proper safety protocols in place
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels, perform stock replenishment, and ensure inventory accuracy
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading trucks while adhering to safety standards and PPE use
- Perform quality control checks on picked items to ensure order accuracy before packing and shipping
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and following safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management practices
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety standards
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Prior experience in order picking, packing, shipping & receiving, or warehouse distribution preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and order accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety guidelines and PPE requirements
