About This Role
This full-time role for a forklift operator involves safely moving perishable products and supplies within the facility. The position suits a safety-conscious and dependable individual who takes pride in working efficiently as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move perishable products and supplies to the correct locations
- Inspect forklift equipment regularly and report maintenance concerns
- Stay alert to potential hazards and follow established safety procedures
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of forklift operating procedures and required training
- Work with the team to keep daily operations running smoothly
- Perform other related duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Forklift certification required (candidates must be able to complete the required certification process)
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and following procedures
- Ability to learn new systems and processes
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements
- Good manual dexterity to safely perform job duties
- Ability to work in an environment where exposure to airborne particles or fumes may occur
- Ability to wear required safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas

Important Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday; 1st Shift (6:00am to approximately 2:30pm) or 2nd Shift (4:00pm to approximately 12:30am)
