We currently have an opportunity for a proactive and detail oriented Operations Support Officer to join our team based in Underdale, SA. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and operational support including project support, accounts payable and receivable processing and contracts administration to support the business. You will ensure timely, accurate data entry and help maintain compliance with Downer's policies and procedures.

KEY TASKS

  • Manage end-to-end administrative and financial processes including, billing, raising purchase orders and receipting of invoices, payment for supplier and subcontractors, job costing and month-end activities.
  • Provide contracts administration support and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate travel, onboarding/offboarding, meetings and general office operations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and audit requirements.
  • Partner with operational teams and finance to deliver accurate and time outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and clients.

ABOUT YOU

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an administration role, including some finance administration.
  • Proficient in core administrative competencies including spreadsheeting and document writing/formatting (intermediate use of Microsoft Office 365 applications).
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation. Thoroughness in completing tasks and following up as required.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, building strong relationships at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and committed to continuous learning and development.
