Operations Supervisor

About This Role

The Operations Supervisor oversees the daily activities within the cold storage and cross-border operations facility. This role coordinates workflows for receiving, storage, inspections, cross-docking, and order fulfillment, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant operations. The supervisor leads and trains team members, monitors performance, and supports a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities within the cold storage and cross-border operations facility
• Coordinate workflows for receiving, storage, inspections, cross-docking, and order fulfillment
• Ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant operations
• Lead and train team members
• Assign tasks and monitor performance
• Support a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment
• Track key operational metrics
• Resolve issues
• Maintain communication with internal teams and external partners
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in processes and customer service

Requirements

• Strong supervisory skills to lead, train, and motivate teams, and oversee daily warehouse and cold chain activities
• Operations and operations management skills to coordinate workflows, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Analytical skills to monitor KPIs, identify trends, troubleshoot operational issues, and support data-driven decision-making
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members, management, customers, and external partners in a clear and professional manner
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to stand, walk, and work in refrigerated environments
• Ability to work flexible hours as operational needs require

Nice to have:

• Experience in cold storage or logistics operations
• Knowledge of cross-border or customs processes
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems
• Familiarity with safety and quality protocols
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field
