Job Description: We are seeking an Operations Program Manager (OPM) to maintain single-threaded ownership of all Operations and Supply Chain workstreams for high-volume programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all Ops & Supply Chain workstreams as a single-threaded program owner.
- Manage factory ramp plans, readiness reviews, build schedules, PRD/HW milestones, and mass production ramps.
- Control cost targets including BoM cost, manufacturing cost, and inventory targets.
- Proactively manage supply chain risks (component EOL, sole-source risks, geopolitical supply chain).
- Hold Asia-based CMs (Foxconn, Pegatron, BYD, Luxshare, etc.) accountable to schedule, quality, and cost commitments.
- Present program status clearly to senior executive leadership.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent technical field.
- 7+ years in operations or supply chain program management in a consumer hardware / CE environment.
- Single-threaded ownership experience: accountable for all Ops & SC workstreams on a program.
- Deep expertise in factory ramp management: ramp plan, factory readiness reviews, yield ramp tracking.
- Strong command of NPI program scheduling: PRD, HW milestones, build schedules, MP ramp.
- Experience managing cost targets (BoM cost, manufacturing cost, inventory targets).
- Proficiency in supply chain risk management: component EOL, sole-source risks, geopolitical supply chain.
- Experience working directly with Asia-based CMs (Foxconn, Pegatron, BYD, Luxshare, or equivalent).
- Ability to hold CMs accountable to schedule, quality, and cost commitments.
- Strong executive communication: able to present program status to senior leadership clearly.
Good To Have:
- Prior experience as a TPM or System TPM before moving into OPM role.
- Apple, or Samsung mass-production ramp.
- APICS CSCP / CPIM or equivalent supply chain certification.
- Experience with S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and demand-supply balancing.
- Background in contract negotiation with CMs and component suppliers.
- Exposure to carbon footprint / sustainability metrics within manufacturing operations.
- Experience managing multi-generational product transitions (EOL + NPI simultaneously).
- MBA or advanced business degree.
- Mandarin or Vietnamese language skills for direct CM leadership engagement.
