Operations Program Manager

About This Role

Overseeing server and rack product lines, this on-site Sustaining Operations Program Manager (OPM) role involves working directly with contract manufacturers (CMs). The primary goal is to maximize line stability, optimize yield, and reduce costs after mass production launch, bridging the gap between internal engineering teams and the factory floor until product end-of-life.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations directly at the contract manufacturing partner site
• Oversee server and rack assembly, testing, and shipping schedules
• Monitor factory output and fix capacity bottlenecks fast
• Track factory data and field returns (RMA) to find root causes for quality drops
• Maintain strict yield targets
• Lead Value Engineering (VAVE) projects to cut waste and lower the total cost of goods sold (COGS)
• Guide cross-functional teams through Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) without stopping the production line
• Work with supply chain teams to find secondary parts and prevent factory line shutdowns
