About the role

Duties
As an Operations Program Analyst you will:

  • Provide consultative and assistance on human capital and financial planning activities.
  • Design, plan and develop requirements to accommodate for resources.
  • Perform a range of statistical analysis involving complex mathematical problems or modeling techniques.
  • Conduct detailed skills assessments of current staff to determine underutilization.
  • Lead and/or participate in the preparation of comprehensive technical reports embodying the results of aspects of studies.

Qualifications
Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service as defined in the next paragraph.
Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include a broad range of operations research analysis assignments, entailing complex mathematical problems, creativity, and innovative use of modeling techniques, advance mathematical models and computer programs to evaluate, interpret, and analyze progress implementation of organizational priorities.

Conditions of Employment:

  1. Security and Background Requirements: If not previously completed, a background security investigation will be required for all appointees.
