About the role
- Position : Operations Manager (Construction / Interior Fit-Out)
- Location : Sungei Kadut
- Working hours : Monday to Friday | 8.45am – 6.15pm
- Salary (commensurate with experience) : Basic up to S$6,000 + Transport Allowance S$800–S$1,000 + Variable Bonus + 14–18 Days Annual Leave + Medical Benefits
- Duration : Permanent
- Industry : Interior Furnishing / Construction
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction and project operations.
- Plan manpower, materials, equipment and project resources.
- Monitor project schedules and resolve operational delays or constraints.
- Coordinate logistics, deliveries, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams.
- Manage inventory, material usage and stock discrepancies.
- Monitor manpower deployment and workforce productivity across projects.
- Improve operational processes, SOPs, productivity and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate between Singapore operations and overseas production counterparts.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Supply Chain or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant construction/project operations experience.
- Strong experience in manpower planning, logistics and inventory/material management.
- Experience in process improvement and cost optimisation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is advantageous.
- Mandarin proficiency is required for regular communication with overseas production counterparts who primarily communicate in Mandarin.
- Own vehicle is advantageous due to work-related travelling.
