About This Role
The Operations Manager oversees daily operations from both clinical and administrative perspectives, ensuring effective communication with facility staff, clinicians, physicians, clients, and families. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a background in healthcare management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee general daily operations from a clinical and administrative perspective
- Maintain open communication lines with facility staff, attending clinicians, physicians, clients, and families
- Organize and schedule building maintenance
- Work closely with management and train Behavioral Healthcare Technicians
- Provide reports for the Executive Team
- Plan, organize, and direct programs and services
- Assist with budget matters
- Prepare and organize UA screening for clients
- Conduct overall welfare check-ins with clients
- Manage the weekly schedule for Behavioral Healthcare Technicians
- Oversee admissions for new clients
- Input client medications in KIPU
- Maintain office supply inventory
- Conduct monthly audits for the Joint Commission
- Oversee collection of rent payments for clients in sober living
- Prepare sites for state walkthroughs
- Provide appropriate training for the department
- Hold interviews for vacant positions and select candidates
- Monitor adherence to company policies and procedures
- Create a positive, professional, team-oriented work environment
Requirements
- Knowledge of Joint Commission standards
- Proficiency in communication and writing skills
- Understanding of state and federal client confidentiality laws
- Knowledge of workplace violence
- Competency in problem-solving, stress management, ethics, and team building
- TB test and CPR/First Aid certification
- At least two years of experience in corporate and healthcare fields
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Flexibility to adapt to the schedule
- Criminal background clearance
