About This Role
Transforming Japan's furniture and home appliance delivery network is at the heart of this role. As an Operations Manager, you will integrate local delivery company networks with Amazon technology to build a new national delivery network while fostering strong relationships with delivery partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage partner carrier operational metrics at delivery sites
- Improve delivery quality and add services
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- Build trusting relationships with new delivery partners
- Support delivery partners to achieve contracted delivery quality
- Achieve continuity (profitability) of delivery partners' Amazon delivery business
- Implement measures to improve driver safety, working environment, and motivation
- Support the field management team to meet operational goals and reflect delivery partner and driver input in operations
- Coordinate to resolve delivery partner issues
- Thoroughly implement SOPs and standards for partners
- Support the realization of medium- to long-term customer experience
Requirements
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas)
- Bachelor's degree
- Business level of Japanese
- Business level of English
