We’re searching for a high‑energy, detail‑oriented, goal-driven, people‑loving Operations Manager to oversee our Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Think of yourself as the captain of a small fleet—except instead of ships, it’s blenders, line checks, labor targets, and teams who rely on you to keep everything running smoothly.
What You’ll Do (a.k.a. Your Daily Smoothie Blend):
- Lead, coach, and develop your team and shift leaders
- Ensure the café exceeds operational standards, speed of service goals, and guest satisfaction targets
- Monitor labor, cost of goods sold, and guest satisfaction scores.
- Conduct regular store inspections to ensure you are health department ready 100% of the time
- Hiring, training, and performance management
- Keep the atmosphere positive and upbeat, the standards high, and the orders flowing
- Create financial reports weekly and ensure we stay on target with the cafe's goals- Or exceed them!
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience managing at a high‑volume business
- Strong communication skills and promptly responds to all communications
- A love for structure, systems, consistency and cleanliness
- A competitive, but friendly, nature with a commitment to excellence and a drive to grow the business
- Deeply invested in people development, from managers to frontline staff
- High standards for brand execution, both visually and operationally
- Strategic and forward‑looking, always building toward a more corporate, centralized structure
- Hands‑on operator who works on the lines with the team and leads by example
- Strong leadership presence, with clear expectations, and a focus on accountability and encouragement
- Persistent problem‑solver, unwilling to let technical or operational issues linger
