About This Role
This Control Tower Operations Analyst role supports the logistics operations of a global technology client, owning the daily flow of outbound shipments from pickup coordination to delivery confirmation. The work involves ensuring shipment data is accurate and customers are informed.
Responsibilities
- Manage pickup loading activities in the system
- Update the outbound dispatch control file based on the daily shipment report
- Download and prepare reports with updated Proof of Delivery (POD) information for all delivered shipments
- Follow up on deliveries using transport data such as recipient and delivery date
- Close PODs across all service channels, including spare parts, e-commerce and customer service
- Cross-check dispatch data against consolidated delivery reports to identify overdue shipments
- Escalate and follow up with the logistics provider as needed
- Prepare templates for bulk POD uploads and perform bulk uploads of confirmed deliveries
- Process pickup and withdrawal requests from the client’s customer service and supply chain teams
- Generate shipping labels and remittance documents, and share tracking details with the requester
- Download daily shipment data and validate each waybill or remittance manually
- Update and close delivered PODs in the system
- Respond to emails throughout the day about shipment status, additional information and customer inquiries
- Generate and send POD reports using internal and third-party reporting tools
Requirements
- Advanced English, written and spoken
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, control tower or supply chain operations
- Familiarity with WMS/TMS or similar logistics systems, including bulk data uploads
- Strong Excel skills, including lookups, filters, pivot tables and data cross-checking
- Experience tracking shipments and working with carriers or 3PL providers
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of daily transactions
- Clear, professional written communication and a customer-service mindset
Nice to have:
- Experience with POD management or reverse logistics
- Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI or similar
- Background in the technology or electronics distribution industry
