Operational Buyer
Overview
An opportunity is available for an Operational Buyer to support day-to-day procurement activities, supplier relationships, and purchasing operations. This role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the timely sourcing of goods and services while maintaining cost efficiency and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operational procurement activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and existing business partners.
- Coordinate communication with suppliers, service providers, and internal departments.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on offers, and manage order processing.
- Perform pricing calculations and cost comparisons.
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
- Prepare procurement reports, analyses, and performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance procurement efficiency.
Requirements
- Completed commercial qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, sales support, or a similar commercial role is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
