Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Nurse (Circulator & Scrub) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality perioperative nursing care during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams before, during, and after procedures.
- Manage and maintain sterile fields and instruments.
- Circulate within the operating room to ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
- Monitor patient condition and vital signs during surgery.
- Document all nursing care and surgical procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and infection control policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license.
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience (Scrub & Circulator).
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
