Seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for evaluating patients before surgery, providing education, and ensuring patient safety through procedures like site verification and emergency response. Key Duties Include
- Assuming responsibility for patient preparation and perioperative care
- Participating in surgical protocols, briefing, and debriefing
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
- Monitoring and documenting patient condition throughout shifts
- Educating patients and families about medical conditions and follow-up care
Qualifications Required
- RN license with Associate Degree
- OR circulating experience is essential
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
