Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Must have prior experience as a classroom teacher working with children in a licensed childcare center.
- Lead Potty Training: Actively assist, guide, and encourage toddlers through the potty training process using positive reinforcement and patience.
- Maintain Potty Schedules: Establish and follow consistent bathroom routines and schedules tailored to individual child needs and parent preferences.
- Licensing & Health: * Must meet all requirements stipulated by the Kansas state licensing agency.
- Must follow all Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) health assessment guidelines.
- Soft Skills: * An absolute passion for early childhood development.
- An ability to relate positively and professionally to fellow teachers, management, and parents.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to ensure child safety, facilitate programs, and handle potential emergency situations.
- Standards & Ongoing Training: * Must meet Primrose Schools’ overall high standards of care and education.
- Must commit to accumulating ongoing training hours as required by KDHE
