About This Role
This role is for a dedicated, technology-savvy teacher to deliver engaging online classes to students following the CBSE curriculum. It suits a candidate with excellent subject knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to create an interactive virtual learning environment that promotes academic excellence and student engagement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct live online classes according to the assigned timetable
- Prepare and deliver well-structured lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum
- Create an engaging, interactive, and student-centered virtual classroom
- Monitor student attendance, participation, and academic progress
- Assign and evaluate homework, projects, quizzes, and assessments
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson completion, and student assessments
- Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs
- Collaborate with academic coordinators and fellow teachers to improve teaching quality
- Ensure discipline and maintain a positive learning environment during online sessions
- Use digital teaching tools, presentations, whiteboards, and educational resources effectively
- Support students with academic guidance and encourage independent learning
- Deliver classes punctually as per the timetable
- Maintain high teaching standards and student engagement
- Complete syllabus within the academic schedule
- Submit reports, assessments, and attendance records on time
- Maintain effective communication with parents and the academic team
- Uphold the institution's academic policies and professional standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good computer proficiency and familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom
- Ability to create digital learning materials and presentations
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge are welcome to apply
- Laptop or desktop computer (mandatory)
- High-speed, stable internet connection
- HD webcam and quality microphone/headset
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace
- Basic knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
Nice to have:
- B.Ed.
- Prior online teaching experience
