About This Role
This online English teaching role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to tutor a diverse range of students, from children to adults, across various English programs. It suits individuals passionate about teaching who seek to increase their income in a flexible, low-pressure work environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach/guide students on the Zoom platform (tutor will be provided with an account)
- Teach 1:1 for diverse student groups (children, students of all levels, university students, and adults) across various English programs
- Teach Basic & Conversational English: foundational English for beginners; practical communication tailored to student needs
- Teach English for Children & K-12 Students: English programs for kids, elementary to high school students; prepare for Cambridge certification exams (Starters, Movers, Flyers, KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE)
- Prepare for Certificates & Academic Exams: support preparation for international certificates such as TOEIC, IELTS, VSTEP, SAT, DET, PTE, TOEFL iBT, Aptis (tutors can choose classes that match their expertise)
- Monitor and evaluate students' learning progress
- Provide feedback and support students to improve learning outcomes after each session
- Provide concise reports on student learning status when requested
Requirements
- Strong professional expertise and high sense of responsibility
- Have online teaching equipment (computer, webcam, microphone, stable internet connection)
- Quiet and suitable teaching environment
- Good communication skills, patience, and ability to convey information
- No experience required
- Teaching/tutoring experience is a plus
- No degree required
