Online Bilingual English/French Teacher

About This Role

This full-time online ESL teaching position focuses on helping beginner-level students learn English, leveraging your French bilingual skills. You will work from the company's office in Hyde Park, Johannesburg, supported by an experienced team and company resources.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 40 to 45-minute conversation-based group and private online lessons with adult learners
• Provide after-class reports to all students, detailing their progress and ongoing recommendations for improvement
• Attend ongoing training, which is an essential requirement in EF’s superior teaching products
• Create your own custom lesson material with more experience

Requirements

• South African Residency; must live in South Africa and be in possession of a South African identity document
• C2 level English speaker with a neutral accent
• B2-C1 proficiency in French
• Completed Bachelor’s degree or a qualification equivalent to NQF Level 7 (Compulsory)
• Highly computer literate
• Required to work from the office in Hyde Park, Johannesburg
• Professional, energetic, and excited about people
• A smartphone is essential for daily sign-ins

Important Details

• Schedule: 4 day, 10 hour shift based on shift availability; rostered days and hours dependent on 24/7 operational requirements, Mondays to Sundays; normal hours of work will not exceed 45 hours per week
