Pay range for this position is $50.08 - $61.66/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The OnDemand Registered Nurse delivers high quality, compassionate care across diverse clinical settings with a strong emphasis on flexibility throughout the Ministry. The nurse uses sound clinical judgment and adaptability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individualized care for patients of all ages. The OnDemand RN is highly knowledgeable, autonomous professional who demonstrates flexibility and adaptability, seamlessly working across the OSF Ministry to meet patient and organizational needs. The OnDemand registered nurse requires advanced clinical competence, informal leadership capability, and the ability to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients across the care continuum in diverse environments.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Associate degree in nursing.
Experience:
- 1 year of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting within the specialty hired.
Licensure/ Certification:
- Reg Nurse License in the state of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Care Life Support certification (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (required for applicable specialties).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association (required for applicable specialties).

Ability to work maintain flexibility in work and schedule.

Strong clinical judgment and autonomous decision-making ability.

Advanced assessment, analytical, and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or completion within two years of hire.
Experience: 2 years of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting within the specialty hired.
- Participation in Clinical Ladder strongly encouraged.
