Onboarding Specialist

About This Role

This Onboarding Specialist role in the IT Department involves setting up, training, and supporting new customers as they begin to use the company's digital products. The position is based in the home office and suits a candidate with a technical IT background and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup of new products, including LTI integrations, configuration, and customization to customer preferences
• Provide customer support during the early implementation process, eventually transitioning them from the Onboarding team to the Tech Support team
• Perform quality assurance and run tests on newly released browsers or operating systems
• Create documentation for new products and host training sessions and webinars via Zoom

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or tech school; OR six months to a year of related experience/training; or a combination of both
• Excellent customer service experience and communication abilities
• Technical IT background with the necessary knowledge for the position
• Eager to help solve problems and apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
