About the role
Business Function Group Operations enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. This is done through strategic focus on training and improving staff capability, empowerment, productivity, teamwork, innovation & technology, managing operational risks & strongly collaborating with our business partners in delivering excellent RED service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Process and scrutinize A2 remittances as per the applicable FEMA guidelines
- Prepare and submit various MIS reports such as R-return and cross-border remittance reports
- Demonstrate knowledge of reporting applicable transactions under LRS (Liberalized Remittance Scheme) and NRO (Non-Resident Ordinary) accounts
- Assist with other remittance facilities and miscellaneous remittances
Requirements
- Awareness of basic FEMA guidelines related to A2 remittances
- Knowledge of reporting applicable transactions under LRS and NRO
- Understanding of other remittance facilities and miscellaneous remittances
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using relevant banking and financial systems
