About This Role
This role as Officer, EdTech requires hands-on technical experience with e-learning technologies, online assessment platforms, and app development. It involves leading and overseeing projects from conception to execution, ensuring they meet defined standards for scope, budget, and timeline. The position suits a candidate with a strong technical background and an understanding of LMS and app content development/integration cycles.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee projects with comprehensive top-down management, ensuring adherence to defined standards of scope, budget, and timeline
- Take a leadership role in digital content dissemination projects, facilitating seamless collaboration across various departments
- Lead the initiative to streamline and digitize data collection processes, particularly focusing on the RTR (Return to Roots) project for the current year
- Identify suitable partners/vendors, delegate responsibilities efficiently, and manage project activities end-to-end
- Guide the team through development, testing, and implementation stages, with a focus on effective work review and technical risk management of assigned projects
- Interface with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct regular team meetings, and ensure transparent tracking of project progress
- Provide direction and technical expertise in design, development, and systems integration
- Identify resource and equipment needs, conduct efficient capacity planning, and manage software/hardware availability
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, including meticulous attention to detail and effective multitasking
- Generate detailed reports on measurable project items such as milestones and deliverables
- Work closely with Instructional Designers, Administrators, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure optimal setup and execution of educational content delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with e-learning platforms and online assessment systems
- Good understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and their implementation
- Ability to support technology-enabled learning solutions and digital education platforms
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the Edtech sector, including development work
