About This Role
An organized and motivated individual will join a construction and renovation company, combining office administration, customer service, interior design, construction estimating, and project coordination. This position is ideal for someone with experience in construction or renovation estimating, knowledge of interior design, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and communicate professionally with customers
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Prepare estimates and quotations for construction and renovation projects
- Calculate material quantities, labor costs, and project expenses
- Assist with interior design concepts, material selections, and renovation planning
- Use QuickBooks Online to prepare invoices, record expenses, track project costs, and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with bookkeeping and organize financial documents using QuickBooks Online
- Use Microsoft Word and Excel for daily administrative tasks
- Maintain organized project files, customer records, and documentation
- Assist with coordinating ongoing construction and renovation projects
- Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding project requirements and scheduling
- Occasionally travel to construction sites, suppliers, or customer locations as required
Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Excellent spoken and written Arabic
- Good working knowledge of QuickBooks Online, comfortable preparing invoices, recording expenses, tracking project costs, and maintaining financial records
- Experience preparing estimates and quotations for construction and renovation projects
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and learn new tasks
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for occasional work-related travel
Nice to have:
- Previous experience or knowledge of interior design
- Experience in residential or commercial construction and renovation
- Experience with construction or renovation bookkeeping, project costing, material takeoffs, and labor costing
