Location Detail: 45 Meriden Ave Southington CC (10174)

Shift Detail: 24 hours on weekdays; rotating weekend day; rotating major and minor holidays.

Southington Care center features a state-of-the–art rehab pavilion complete with Aqua Therapy and an Occupational Therapy suite that replicates the home setting. Our staff promotes quality of life while fostering maximum well-being, with a wide range of wellness programs.

Overview Join our experienced Rehab team to provide customized rehabilitation programs to meet the individual needs of a diverse population who no longer require hospitalization, however are in need of short-term rehabilitation in a multi-disciplinary therapeutic environment.

  • Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy
  • Outpatient Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy
  • Lymphedema Management

Job Summary Under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, performs standardized assessments, provides assistance in performing structured assessments, and assists in determining, revising and implementing the treatment plan in order to restore and remediate, and to maximize function in the areas of activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. Reports to Manager.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program, Associate degree.
  • CT Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA, COTA) licensure required.
