About the role
We are seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist / OT to join our dedicated home health team.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Assessing and evaluating patients' functional status, activities of daily living, and occupational therapy needs in accordance with state laws and the plan of care
- Providing evidence-based occupational therapy services within scope of practice, in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Monitoring patient responses to treatment, documenting changes, and communicating with nurses and physicians
- Conducting patient assessments using diagnostic and prognostic tests to determine functional ability
- Performing home assessments and recommending adaptive equipment as needed
Qualifications And Skills Required
- Current occupational therapy licensure in the state of practice
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation
- Preferred: CPR certification, ability to manage multiple tasks independently, strong communication and organizational skills
