Location: Victoria, Texas
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Pay Rate: $45.00 - $49.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation
Shift: Days
Schedule: 8-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services in an inpatient rehab setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping patients regain independence, improve functional abilities, and achieve the highest possible level of daily living following injury, illness, or surgery.
Required Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License (Texas or Compact License where applicable).

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Current BLS Certification.

Strong patient assessment and treatment planning skills.

Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities.

Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.

Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve daily living and functional skills.

Assist patients with mobility, self-care, adaptive techniques, and functional independence.

Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and outcomes.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams.

Educate patients and families on recovery goals, home safety, and therapeutic exercises.

Ensure compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and best clinical practices.
