About the role
We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide rehabilitation services in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Requirements Include
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Current New York State OT License
- Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized OT treatment plans
- Select activities to promote residents' independence in daily activities
- Observe, assess, and document occupational therapy progress through detailed reports
- Maintain resident confidentiality and foster a cooperative healthcare team relationship
