Location: Flint Township & Grand Blanc, Michigan
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / PRN
Setting: Outpatient Rehabilitation
Schedule: Preferably 4 days × 10 hours, with 5 days × 8 hours also available
About The Opportunity We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a growing outpatient rehabilitation practice serving patients across the Flint Township and Grand Blanc areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced clinicians as well as new graduates looking to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment alongside PT, PTA, and SLP professionals.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services in an outpatient setting
- Evaluate and/or treat patients based on individual needs and established plans of care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment programs
- Document evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
- Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare professionals to support patient outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, therapeutic activities, and strategies to improve functional independence
- Maintain compliance with applicable professional, state, and insurance requirements
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain a positive, professional, and patient-focused environment
Qualifications Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Current Michigan Occupational Therapist license
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- NBCOT certification preferred/required as applicable
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Current Michigan COTA license
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification as applicable
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- New graduates are welcome to apply
