Employment Type: Temporary Full Time, 38 hours per week until Sep 2027 . Temporary roles are available to visa holders, with contracts issued in accordance with visa conditions. Visa holders will be considered where no suitable Australian citizen or permanent resident is identified.

Remuneration: Occupational Therapist Level 1-2: $1,522.06 - $2,171.40 per week + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Opportunity to join a new program to assist clients in rehabilitating in the home. The OT will work with a Physio and an AHA to see clients in the community and complete a short goal-based rehabilitation program, with support from the Hospital in the Home program. You will be responsible for conducting assessments in clients’ homes, contributing to goal setting, and implementing client-centred treatment. You will support discharge planning and participate in delivering evidence-based care while developing your clinical skills within a community setting.

Are You the Right Fit?

The ideal candidate has experience in rehabilitation and/or community based Occupational Therapy, is able to work independently, is practical and able to apply rehabilitation programs and principles in a home environment. The role requires rostered weekend shifts, with a minimum of one weekend day worked per week.

Selection Criteria

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

• Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Please describe your experience with rehabilitation and/or community OT. What principles are important to consider when undertaking goal based, community allied health care
• Please provide an example of a situation where you worked collaboratively with clients, carers and/or a multidisciplinary team to achieve a positive outcome. What was your role, how did you communicate with stakeholders, and what was the result?
• Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
