About the role
Role: Occupational Therapist in a rehab department, providing patient evaluations and treatments onsite.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans involving patients and families.
- Educate patients and caregivers about deficits, adaptive equipment, and support programs.
- Assist with patient discharge planning from therapy services.
- Supervise support personnel in compliance with licensing laws and standards.
- Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master’s preferred.
- Current licensure in Colorado and BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- Strong critical thinking, decisiveness, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
Key Duties: Patient evaluation, care planning, education, supervision, discharge assistance, and working within scope of practice to ensure quality therapy services.
