About the role
Role:
Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for developing and implementing treatment programs to restore and enhance patients' physical, social, and mental functions. Serves as a co-leader in interdisciplinary patient care teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations to assess patient needs, utilizing appropriate techniques and tools.
- Develop individualized treatment and discharge plans, ensuring effective communication with relevant parties.
- Provide therapy interventions following established protocols.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation within designated deadlines.
- Supervise assigned therapy assistants.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD); licensure in the practicing state is required.
- CPR or BLS certification from an approved provider.
- Preferred: Two years of occupational therapy experience.
Essential Requirements
- Proficient in clinical evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation.
- Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Ability to supervise therapy assistants and perform other related duties.
