Job Summary: Plans and conducts treatment programs aimed at restoring and enhancing patients' physical, social, and mental functions. Collaborates as a co-leader within an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans, perform evaluations, and deliver therapy interventions using approved protocols. Ensures accurate clinical documentation, communicates treatment plans effectively, and supervises assigned assistants.
Qualifications And Skills
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD), with licensure in applicable states.
- Valid Occupational Therapy license, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent assessment, clinical techniques, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams and supervise assistants.
Key Duties
- Complete patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy interventions and establish discharge plans.
- Ensure timely, accurate clinical documentation.
- Supervise assigned therapy assistants and perform other related duties as assigned.
