The Occupational Therapist Assistant provides in-home occupational therapy to help patients regain their physical abilities.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Following state laws and supervising OT treatment plans
- Instructing and aiding patients within scope and evidence-based practices
- Monitoring, recording, and reporting patient responses and condition changes
- Educating patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members in therapy techniques
This role requires licensure, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently in diverse home settings.
