Role Overview: The Occupational Therapist Assistant provides occupational therapy to patients, assisting them in restoring their physical abilities within the scope of practice and under supervision.
Key Responsibilities: Follow state laws and treatment plans, instruct and aid patients, observe and report patient responses, and educate patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to adapt to diverse home environments is essential.
Qualifications & Skills: Must hold current licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, possess a valid driver’s license, and be certified with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Preferred candidates will have CPR certification, excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
