Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Bengaluru. The Occupational Therapist will assess patients with neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve functional independence and quality of life. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed evaluations, delivering therapy sessions focused on activities of daily living, motor and sensory skills, and cognitive functioning, as well as documenting progress and adjusting plans as needed. The role involves close collaboration with physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and other clinical team members to deliver coordinated care, educate patients and caregivers on home-based programs, and contribute to rehabilitation protocols and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, with valid professional registration or licensure as required.
  • Foundational clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and outcome evaluation for neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions.
  • Strong patient-centered skills, including empathy, clear communication, caregiver education, and the ability to motivate and engage diverse age groups.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, coordinate with other therapists and clinicians, and contribute to integrated rehabilitation plans.
  • Solid documentation, time-management, and organizational abilities, with comfort using digital health records and therapy-related software.
  • Prior experience in neurorehabilitation or mental health settings is highly beneficial; fresh graduates with strong clinical internships may also be considered.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and adherence to evidence-based therapy guidelines and safety standards.
