The program, powered by Oando Foundation in partnership with the Nigeria Climate Innovation Center (NCIC), addresses the growing demand for skilled talent in sustainable industries amid global climate challenges.

Participants will receive comprehensive training that combines technical skill development, industry apprenticeships, mentorship, and entrepreneurial support.

The initiative builds on the success of previous cohorts, with Cohort I recently concluding and Cohort II expanding reach to prepare more youth for opportunities in Nigeria’s green economy.
Eligibility Criteria To be eligible for the Green Youth Upskilling Program 2026, applicants must:
– Be Nigerian citizens aged 20–35 years
– Demonstrate a strong interest in green and technical fields (prior foundational knowledge in areas like solar energy, electrical or mechanical trades, recycling, or climate-smart agriculture is an advantage but not mandatory).

Note that the program primarily targets residents of Lagos State for its in-person components.
