About the role
Role Overview Assist in providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-acuity Coronary Care Unit under the supervision of registered nurses. Responsibilities include supporting clinical care, performing basic patient care activities, and assisting with advanced skills such as phlebotomy and dressing changes. The Care Partner promotes a positive patient experience, ensures safety, maintains confidentiality, and supports team initiatives.
Key Duties
- Partner with healthcare team to deliver safe, respectful, and culturally aware care.
- Assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, and patient comfort measures.
- Support clinical procedures, including advanced skills as authorized.
- Perform clerical tasks like data retrieval, supply management, and medication transport.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, ensuring timely documentation and safety protocols.
- Maintain infection control standards and a safe environment through proper hygiene and equipment handling.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under stress with compassion and professionalism.
- Willingness to learn and perform advanced technical skills as needed.
