Nurse-RN Telehealth

About This Role

This nursing role involves performing patient intake functions, documenting medical history, and conducting assessment interviews using virtual technology. It requires collaboration with bedside RNs to acquire data, develop care plans, and provide patient education. The role suits a registered nurse who blends compassion, knowledge, and integrity to deliver safe, quality care while preserving patient autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with bedside RN to assess patients and document patient medical history
• Assist in developing the plan of care
• Assist in documenting the care plan
• Collaborate with bedside RN to provide patient, family, and/or significant other health teaching/education
• Participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery
• Communicate/collaborate with others in providing patient care
• Maintain patient confidentiality while always following HIPAA guidelines
• Provide clinical leadership
• Support lifelong learning
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Be familiar with EPIC
• Possess computer literacy

Requirements

• Minimum: 1 year of RN experience
• Minimum: RN licensure
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire
• Minimum: Computer literacy

Nice to have:

• 2 years of RN experience (inpatient-med-surg preferred)
• Familiarity with EPIC
• Ability to communicate in English and a second language desired
