About the role

The NP consults with supervising physicians, reviews medical records, and orders diagnostic tests via established protocols.
They maintain effective communication with other providers, delegate tasks appropriately, and evaluate team performance.
Demonstrating safety awareness, emergency response skills, and accountability is essential.
The role involves participating in quality improvement, staff development, and research activities, while adhering to legal and confidentiality standards.
Proficiency in documentation and telecommunication tools is required.
Qualifications include a master's degree in nursing with specialization in family practice or acute care, California RN and NP licenses, national certifications, and relevant experience.
Additional credentials such as PALS, BLS, ACLS, and a provider number are necessary, along with meeting credentialing and application requirements within the healthcare system.
