Role Overview The Nurse Manager - Registered Nurse (RN) oversees clinical operations, supports staff development, and ensures high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, staff scheduling, patient flow, and clinic efficiency. The role involves leading team meetings, addressing patient concerns, maintaining a safe environment, supervising staff performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The manager also oversees equipment, inventory, and quality metrics, while participating in community outreach and program management, such as the Vaccines for Children (VFC).
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active, unrestricted Florida RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years supervisory or leadership experience, especially in primary care or community health.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, mentor staff, and utilize EHR systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards including OSHA, NCQA, and CMS.
